Pippa Harrison Tongue Tie
Specialist Infant Feeding & Tongue Tie Practitioner
I am registered with the Royal College of Nursing, Nursing & Midwifery Council, and trained as a Tongue-tie practitioner in 2017 at Wolverhamton University at Masters Level 7.
I have worked as a Paediatric Nurse since 2003 within various clinical settings. Currently I work within the NHS as an Infant Feeding Nurse and Tongue tie Practitioner ensuring that I am up to date with any new developments in policy and procedure, as well as providing a private service for infant feeding assessment, support and tongue tie release.
I am passionate about providing support to families to overcome any issues with both breast and bottle feeding to meet their individual goals.
I am regulated by the CQC and a member of The Association of Tongue-Tie Practitioners and am insured through Hiscox.
I have been a breastfeeding supporter for 22 years following my son's tongue tie and our difficult breast feeding journey, which made me want to help and support other mums.
I have worked for the last 9 years delivering infant feeding support in hospitals, clinics and community settings for the NHS. I can support families with whatever feeding choices they make; specialising in both breastfeeding and also bottle feeding support .
I have competed the breastfeeding network peer support course . I also have had level 4 university infant-feeding training, NHS infant feeding training and completed the Newborn Behavioural Observations System.
I always provide non-judgmental, evidence based support to suit each family. I am committed to supporting families to achieve their goals and to enjoy their baby’s feeding journey .
